Experiment to be a Music Photographer

Experiment to be a Music Photographer in Kula Shaker and Ian Brown concert

This is  my third experience to take a concert photo shoot, whoonoo... i think i have found my new passion to be a music photographer. Attend a music concert for me is a must be in my to do list, i found a new energy and passion when i am standing in front of stage while watching my favorite band perform. I often stand in backstage when my friends band perform or the other band perform, waww the experience was difference when you be the real audience and fells people shout and sing in behind you rather than you stand in the back stage area. I know the reason why people getting crazy when they watching a rock band concert, hahah did i am look like them too ?? shout, sing and dance ... ahh its normal things lhaa that's how the people enjoying concert...

whiaaa...
My new passion to be the a music photographer was coming up when i was taking my friend band concert, there are a lot way to enjoying music while you do your job as a photographer. Sometimes you don't need a serious and high concentration to taking a picture, although i know for me taking a stage photo need an extra patient and focus to fight with the light. Yeaaa when i take a control the technique of my camera and stage light, that's the time i enjoying the song and fells every moment of the band player and take the picture.
fender stratocaster

One things that i have learned from be a music photographer, it isn't only having a good photo shoot but when you take a great photo shoot moment, you need to feel every capture and feel the soul of your picture.... that's make your picture alive. I think that's my new passion coming up, my other way to appreciate a music, listen it, fell it and capture it to be a great picture.

sing: Govinda jaya jaya... gopala jaya jaya
love i t .. love it ...
Haahaa... for the next concert i think i want to learn more about the technique and capture style, thanks god for having 70-200 tele lens great lens and really helpful for me to take a great photo... maybe for next lesson i have to using the other lens ... any  idea ?? hehhee....

yes.. yes.. senam SKJ
that's "arm pit style"
my fave style
i call it " shadows???"

This is my capture when i saw my favorite band Kula shaker and Ian Brown. waaww Kula Shaker its really oldies for me, i was remember my high school moment when me and my girls band crazy about 90 rocks. Its really nostalgia moment when i heard kula shaker concert in Jakarta. although only 3 songs looks familiar in my ears, Govinda, grateful when your are dead, and my favorite one hey dude, whaa seeing crispian mills with his all fender guitar its cool ... that's a reason i like Kula Shaker, because he use a fender guitar ??? hahhaaa sometimes i love a  guitarist using fender, for me its a sexy moment .. really ??? hahhaa only me says that..... i am jimmy hendrix fans hahaa...

Another things is Ian Brown whooo see a stone roses vocalist its really cool. I like stone roses too although not really familiar for me, but I love Ian Brown with his arm pit style (hahaha arm pit style maybe only me imagine that on my mind) yeaa its was not accidentally when i like heard Ian Brown in my Ipod, now i saw him in his concert, stellify, set my baby free is my fave one... but the craziest things was i dance while take an Ian Brown picture, that's so fun and it's look like addicted things practicing his arm pit style hahaaa....

Hmm.. need a lot of learning to take a great stage photo... and cant wait to see Smashing pumpkins, stereophonic, arkarna and the other Indonesian band in Java Rock'n Land .... hahaha the other funny things is, when i am taking a picture in front of stage, there is a real journalist in one of music magazine ask me "hai... can i know, what media did u from ? are u a journalist ?.. i like your lens ... the last thing he wants my mobile phone number" hahahaa... just funny things but i love it ...
so this the result of my capture ... enjoy it... glad i can share an experience and learning more ...
